If you have problems and need to replace the JBL Amp in your Toyota Avalon, this may help. The Amp is located under the passenger side front seat. Pushing the seat forward will help ease removal/installation.... Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the 10mm bolt..... Now just pull the amp straight out. When you go to install it, make sure the two tabs at the back of the amp are inserted into the recessed clips....
