Some 2014 – 2015 model year Highlander vehicles may exhibit a condition when the A/C system is turned ON, it may take a longer than expected amount of time until it begins to blow cool air. Under certain conditions A/C cooling is delayed 90 sec. – 120 sec. An updated A/C compressor and A/C amplifier are available to address this condition. Follow the procedure in bulletin 0085-16 to address this condition. This repair is covered under the Toyota Basic Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle’s in-service date.
