If you have a 2009-2010 Toyota Matrix with code P0015 and/or a Brief rattle noise on start-up then you will want to replace the Intake VVT-i gear. There are two TSB's that pertain to this condition. They are 0087-09 and 0182-09. The ECU reprogramming only applies to the 2009 MY. Once the valve cover is off, you will need to remove both cams from the engine in order to take the intake VVT-i gear off and replace it with the new one.
