If you have a 2009 Toyota Highlander and the tire pressure warning light is flashing, check and see what codes may be stored in the computer. If the warning light is just on, check and set all the tire pressures to the proper setting and the light should go out. With the light flashing, then something more serious is going on. If you need to replace the TPMS ECU, then this should help...

The TPMS ECU is located behind the glove box just to the right hand side... First remove the glove box by pushing is the side till you can lower/remove the glove box. Once you do that, you should see three phillip head screws up to and two 10mm bolts on the bottom. Remove them and lower the glove box housing...

Now lower the housing and disconnect the two electrical connections....

You should now see the TPMS ECU, remove the 10mm nut and disconnect the electrical connector. Replace the ECU and program the tire pressure sensors into the new ECU....
